Join the CC Lab!

Graduate students

Prospective MSc and PhD graduate students interested in joining the CC Lab should apply to one of our affiliated programmes. We supervise people from the MSc degrees in Computer Science and in Data Science, as well as from the Computer Science PhD programme at Exeter. You can find more information on the postgraduate research programmes at Exeter here.

There are also some opportunities available at the University of Exeter to fund your PhD:

  • Doctoral Training Partnerships (UK/EU/International Students): the deadline for full PhD scholarships is usually around the end of January every year. More information here.
  • China Scholarship Council (Chinese Students): Exeter is proud to offer up to 15 full-time PhD scholarships in collaboration with the China Scholarship Council (CSC). The application deadline is usually around the beginning of January. More information here.
  • Environmental Intelligence CDT: you might also want to check the Centre for Doctoral Training in Environmental Intelligence: Data Science & AI for Sustainable Futures. More information here.

Current graduate students of any programme at the University of Exeter are welcome to email about potential research collaborations. The CC Lab is highly interdisciplinary and we enjoy working with scholars from other fields.

We are always looking for talented researchers (PhD students and postdocs) to join the lab. If you want to propose a collaboration based on an externally-funded postdoctoral scholarship, please get in touch. Here are some potential funding opportunities:

We are also welcome the self-funded visiting scholars to join the CC Lab. In that case, please get in touch.
